Usa la API de File Handling

Primero, declara el atributo file_handlers en el manifiesto de la app web. La API de File Handling requiere que especifiques la propiedad action (una URL de control) y la propiedad accept, que es un objeto con tipos de MIME como claves y arrays de las extensiones de archivo correspondientes.

Luego, debes usar la API de File Handling para controlar de forma imperativa los archivos abiertos a través de launchQueue.

El método clásico

Usa el método clásico DataTransferItem.getAsFile()

Si no se admite la API de File Handling, puedes arrastrar y soltar archivos desde el explorador de archivos en la app. El método DataTransferItem.getAsFile() muestra el objeto File del elemento de datos de arrastre. Si el elemento no es un archivo, este método muestra null. Si bien puedes leer el archivo, no hay forma de volver a escribir en él. Este método tiene la desventaja de que no admite directorios.

El siguiente fragmento usa la API de File Handling cuando está disponible y, además, registra controladores de arrastrar y soltar para que se puedan controlar los archivos arrastrados.

Declara los tipos de archivos que se pueden controlar en el manifiesto de la app web. Los navegadores que no admitan la API de File Handling simplemente ignorarán esto.
