Como usar a API File Handling

Primeiro, declare o atributo file_handlers no manifesto do app da Web. A API File Handling exige que você especifique a propriedade action (um URL de processamento) e a propriedade accept, que é um objeto com tipos MIME como chaves e matrizes das extensões de arquivo correspondentes.

Como usar o método clássico DataTransferItem.getAsFile()

Se a API File Handling estiver indisponível, ainda será possível arrastar e soltar arquivos do Explorador de Arquivos no app. O método DataTransferItem.getAsFile() retorna o objeto File do item de dados de arrastar. Se o item não for um arquivo, esse método retornará null. Embora seja possível ler o arquivo, não há como gravar nele. Esse método tem a desvantagem de não oferecer suporte a diretórios.

Declare os tipos de arquivo que podem ser processados no manifesto do app da Web. Os navegadores que não oferecem suporte à API File Handling vão ignorar isso.
